Associate Professor of Information Systems Leigh Jin receives AIS Technology Challenge Award


The Technology Committee of the Association of Information Systems (AIS), which has over 4,000 members representing universities in over 95 countries worldwide, has named Associate Professor Leigh Jin as the award recipient of the Technology Challenge Award.  This award is given to the most significant contribution to the development of AIS technology in the preceding year.

The award was granted to Professor Jin for her development of the 2009 website, for the organization’s annual conference, AMCIS. The site, which is powered by Joomla open source content management software, has been selected as the default template for all future AMCIS conferences.
